Mathias Golombek has been a member of EXASOL’s executive board since January 2014. In his role as Chief Technology Officer, he is responsible for all technical areas in the company, ranging from development, operations, technical support to professional consulting.

Mathias began his professional career back in 2004 when he joined EXASOL as a software developer and led the database optimization team, before managing the R&D department in 2006. Mathias studied computer science at the University of Würzburg with a focus on databases and distributed systems. He enjoys playing sport, is interested in politics and loves good food.
